prayer of Achan

uncover all our darkness
bring to light what we seek to conceal
teach us that what we bury will not prosper us
what we deny will not promote health.

our sin has a crippling effect,
making us inert.
our sin has a rippling effect,
touching those we love most.

stop us before our idols cost us everything
stop us before our families are consumed
stop us before the congregation is forced to stand in judgment
stop us before Your name is maligned.
