All your veins are visible - tiny network transporting life.
I trace the web, evidence.
This dissected remnant tells only a fraction of the story,
a shadow of the substance.

I was here, it says.
I existed.

Vellum skin, stretched thin.
A life spent offering joy to others, if only they would stop and look.

And then one day, the skin was shed. Naked, you were.

Petals scattered everywhere, evidence.

I am here no more.
I died.
